The Project

Copley Hanwell W7 is the first development of private sale homes by Broadway Living, a pioneering developer of high-quality, mixed-tenure homes which is wholly owned by Ealing Council.

The profits made by selling homes on open market, enable the council to fund more affordable homes for shared ownership and social rent.

The complex and challenging project, with a gross development value of over £100m, is a remarkable example of estate regeneration.

Previously a 1 km stretch of housing land, the series of interconnected neighbourhoods comprise 833 homes; 279 high-specification new homes and 554 restored and refurbished existing homes including elder care.

Throughout the project, Rejuvena8 has worked closely with the sales & marketing team to develop the complete customer journey and continue to manage the customer satisfaction surveys which are produced in a report to inform and guide the overall marketing strategy.

Reviews

"Six years ago, Ealing Council had made the difficult decision to ‘go it alone’ and go forward with a complex regeneration project, acting as developer itself. Owing to its size and complexity, Gerry was recruited as Project Director having initially been asked produce a report on how the scheme could be developed.

"In no small part due to Gerry’s leadership and dedication, the first phase of the development swept the board at several housebuilder’s awards on completion, boosting the Council’s overall profile as a borough that could deliver a quality product to a national level.

"Gerry has a huge reservoir of skills, common sense, and leadership ability. He is able to quickly analyse a large and complex regeneration scheme, galvanise and motivate a project team and drive projects forward. He is exceptionally hard-working and instils loyalty and dedication. His financial and commercial acumen is also second-to-none.”

David Colley, Director of Housing and Regeneration, Ealing Council &

"I remember when we started working together back in 2018, and it feels like yesterday. It's been such an incredible journey, and we have achieved so much as a team.

"Your leadership, creativity, and dedication to Copley have been the driving force behind all the amazing work we've done, and I feel fortunate to have been part of it. I'll never forget the laughs, the good times, and of course, the great work we did together."
